Board Evaluations

Are You Actively Seeking to be the Best?
An effective board of directors has a vital impact on the direction and performance of an organization. How do you assess if your board is performing fair, good or great? How do you know what you do well and where the board could be more effective for the organization and its stakeholders? FCCServices offers four tiers of board evaluation, ranging from simple to comprehensive that will help you determine how you're performing and how you can achieve greater effectiveness.

A Unique Set of Options
Each Each of the four evaluation tiers becomes increasingly more robust, so you have the flexibility to choose the tier that best meets your objectives. If you want something requiring little time and effort, then Tier 1 or 2 may be a fit. If you want a more in-depth review, with more analysis and reports, then Tier 3 is more appropriate. Tier 4 provides the most in-depth perspective. This "deeper-dive" is recommended for boards every two to three years.

Results

  • Organize director roles into eight board responsibility categories.
  • Target the areas of strength that can best be leveraged by the board.
  • Understand how your board compares to a "norm" group, which has been developed over many years of work with other similar board of directors.
  • Identify inconsistencies in priorities between directors.
  • Raise the board’s effectiveness overall.
  • Add significant insight to the organization’s strategic planning.
