We Are Committed to Leading and Guiding the Organization
Jean Cantey Segal
Chief Learning Officer/ Executive Vice President
Jean Cantey Segal is the Chief Learning Officer of Learning and Consulting Services and Executive Vice President for FCC Services. In her current role, she provides strategic leadership, management, and oversight to an experienced consulting team that brings enriching development programs to individuals, executives, and directors to increase the performance of their organizations and strengthen their boards of directors.
Prior to joining the team at FCC Services, Jean served as the managing director of knowledge and learning for the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the managing director of the Centrix Institute at Centrix Financial, and the director of organizational development for Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.
Recognizing the opportunity for FCC Services to have a greater impact on organizational development with the programs delivered to the Farm Credit System, Jean is proud to have led the implementation of an integrated, cohesive learning approach aimed to deepen growth and development at multiple levels of the organizations. Jean and her team accomplished this by creating an overarching theme, which served as the guidepost for developing the program content connecting the same learning objectives across events and target audiences.
Jean understands the power of strong relationships and collaboration in order for individuals, teams and organizations to achieve their vision and accomplish their goals. She knows that demonstrating respect for the unique contributions of others is key to achieving success. “Creating an environment with a sense of camaraderie and respect, leveraging talent and cultivating creativity brings energy and enthusiasm to the workplace. I wouldn’t want to work somewhere without that level of commitment by employees or the organization.”
Outside of FCC Services events, Jean is available for speaking engagements in the following areas of expertise: leadership development; strategic visioning and planning; and management, relationship, and communications skills.
Jean graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in speech communication.
