In light of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, which we are monitoring daily, we wanted to reach out regarding the upcoming Farm Credit Sales Leaders Conference. At this time, the event will be taking place as planned. We will continue to assess the situation in partnership with local and national public health and travel authorities.

Our decisions are informed by and rely heavily on the guidance provided by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). You can link directly to their site with information regarding the virus at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html.

Your health and welfare are our top concern. We are taking precautions to ensure the health of all event participants. We urge attendees to follow the latest guidance from the CDC, which includes steps to prevent the spread of the virus. Everyday prevention measures include frequent hand washing, staying home when sick and covering coughs and sneezes.

We have been in touch with the event locations to discuss their facility hygiene and health policies. We are being advised by the hotels they are taking precautionary measures in order to protect guests and their staff and prevent the spread of infection. These measures include: More frequent cleaning and sanitizing of guest rooms, hotel facilities and public areas. Reminders to staff to practice strict hygiene habits at all times. Staff is being reminded to stay home if they are not feeling well and to seek medical attention immediately if they believe they have symptoms suggestive of respiratory illness.

With the safety of our customers, partners and employees as our number one priority, we will remain vigilant in our monitoring of the latest coronavirus developments from the CDC and local public health authorities.
